Weekly Football

Where the Magic (and Missed Sitters) Happen

We run weekly mixed-ability football sessions on Wednesday and Thursday evenings, currently in Collumpton. Expect good vibes, honest effort, and the occasional shout of “Who brought this lad?!” followed by laughter and a group hug.

Whether you’re 21 or 61, ex semi-pro or semi-pro at eating biscuits, our sessions are:

  • Friendly and welcoming

  • Affordable (£3.50 a pop – any surplus goes to charity)

  • A safe space to move, breathe, and connect

You don’t need to be fit, fast, or fabulous,  you just need to show up.

What you’ll find:

  • Relaxed, no-pressure football

  • New mates and old knees

  • Support if you’re struggling

  • A community that genuinely cares

  • A few players still arguing over who’s in goal

Many of our players come from backgrounds of mental health struggles, isolation, grief, or injury. For some, this is their main source of connection and purpose each week. That’s not just football. That’s family.

Charity Matches

Playing for More Than Points

Our charity games are where the spirit of ECFC really shines. We host monthly Veterans matches and special fixtures that raise money, raise awareness, and raise eyebrows when someone attempts a backheel volley.

Each match is played in memory of someone, in support of a cause, or just to bring people together for good. Think proper team kits, local crowds, banners, fundraising raffles,  and usually someone turning up late with one sock.

Match Reports (coming soon!) will share the drama, the goals, the mishaps, and the meaningful moments from every charity clash. Spoiler: we don’t always win, but we always play with heart
